Gentle Yoga cultivates balance, flexibility, and strength. This hatha yoga class is appropriate for beginners as well as experienced yogis. Do you have physical limitations? Are you recovering from an injury or from having a baby? Nanci uses the therapeutic applications of yoga to assist you and to keep you safe in your practice.
For Members of the Almaden Valley Athletic Club (AVAC).
This restorative yoga class is done entirely on the floor with the use of props to support you in each pose. Poses are held for 5-15 minutes to relax your muscles and to calm your nervous system. Applying the therapeutic applications of yoga, this class is beneficial for anyone recovering from injury, surgery, and for reducing stress. Appropriate for beginners, and for prenatal and postnatal mamas.
If you join us from home, suggested props are a yoga bolster, 2-3 yoga blankets, and two yoga blocks. If you do not have props, grab some dense pillows and blankets.

Come together in community with other women! This Hatha yoga session begins with warm-up stretches and Sun Salutations to ground and energize you. We move through a gentle yoga practice to regain balance, strength, and focus. This is appropriate for all women and is safe for new mamas once you are at least 3-months postpartum.
