RESTORATIVE YOGA

All Levels

Restorative Yoga is a blend of healing modalities all done on the floor – resting in yoga poses on props, gentle yoga movements, breath work, guided meditation, and hands-on healing – which together creates an experience of deep relaxation and rejuvenation.  With the support of props, this practice attends to the special needs of each individual which fosters a safe place for the process of healing to take place.   When the body/mind feels safe, then the Central Nervous System can slow down and begin to heal and rejuvenate.  It is the ultimate anti-stress practice appropriate for beginners and experienced yogis alike.  The entire practice is done on the floor: making it available to those who might not be able to participate in a more active yoga class due to physical weaknesses, injuries, recovery from illness, or any limitations.
